I'll not Quit

I will not quit,
Streets are wide and avenues are long
Still I am trying hard to move along
Terra is parched with the wrath of sun
Walking here is no more pleasing fun.
Many here can pose a ferocious fight
Many here are having a lengthy stride
They can crush you without any guilt
Can make you realize you are unfit

Trees are there to rest and relax
Big shades are there on each side
But I will continue I will endure
I can’t compromise with my pride
I may perish and I may annihilate
But I can’t let my dreams saturate
I know the level of risk and harm
But I’ll abide by the rules of storm

I received so many caveats in offer
Some were good some came cropper
Some ask why don’t you feel scare
Some ask why don’t you at all care
When your intoxication will get over
When you will again become a sober
Let this translucency of fog get over
And you’ll have to search for cover

I will not understand I am a duffer
I’m always with my cold-shoulder
I may be confused I may be mazed
May I‘ve gone insane and crazed
Thanks God! I am in intoxication
But I know my senses are kicking
I know that I’m not the fittest one
Still living by leaving Darwinism

Lonely in the crowd alone in the mob
Sometimes I feel like to stop and sob
I am not made for this hideous race
But I cannot let my dreams disgrace
Don’t want to find myself in disdain
Waiting for the time when it will rain
A rain that satiates the burning desire
A rain that will quench the terra’s fire

Child is The Father of The Man

‘Maggi ache dada’……Age 8-10 years, shiny bright eyes, clad in rags and dreaming of riches. This fascinating rookie was introducing himself to the ruthlessness of this brutal world. Hoping to make it big here, he was calmly defying his slumber and compromising with random abuses of elite privileged people who were performing the roles of customers there. Running from table 1 to 20 and trying for perfection in each of his move, this future of India was completely unaware of approaching vicious circle and poverty culture which has engulfed many of his likes in due course of time.

As a part of his routine exercise he came to me. I asked his name. Answer was something in Bengali which meant ‘Maggi is already placed at your table Sir!’ .Language barrier halted our further interaction but to read him was not an uphill task. Nothing much he was having with him except plethora of hopes in his shiny eyes and happiness in his bright face. Happiness, a part of which came from the feeling that he is no more burden in this economy of exchange and other part which can be attributed to his optimism .Both of them are not going to serve him longer. Both will fade with time and this is the gift that we give to our dear heirs. We are too myopic to care about these obvious social injustices as we are used to these regular scenes of human rights violation.

Government of India has recently passed a bill to prohibit any involvement of children under 14 in work. Arrangements for free education up to 14 years and mid-day meal scheme are also there. But all these provisions are coming a cropper. All these rules have become part of constitution but they are still not instilled in our conscience. We don’t feel ashamed or guilty in making our foundations weak and preparing a pool of children who have developed considerable amount of negative outlook before ushering in their youth. Indian socialism is still unrealized and ideals of equal opportunity and social justice are far away from their ground state implementation and we are highly responsible as we are inconsiderate enough for many considerable issues. Now, the turn is to amend ourselves as constitution has changed himself more than 100 times.

Ten minutes later I was again intervened by the same sweet voice “aur kuchh lagega dada”….”Nothing”, I said. You have given me a lot but I have nothing to give you except bill of your proprietor and thanks to you. I paid the bill, caressed his face gave him something and headed towards my hall. Perhaps my responsibility was not over but the episode was over. I completely chewed the cud of this food for thought. I was again busy with my LAN. Don’t know yet, is child really the father of the man?

Civil Services Myths and Realities.

After a long time interval I met my dear friend and my first year wingy Sunny who was looking flummoxed by the proceedings of F 127. As asked by him to unravel the mysteries of Civil Services I am writing this article for Scholars Avenue. The article is more oriented towards ideological aspect of this profession than information about examination process. While talking to many people in our prestigious institute, I have deduced that the profession of civil service is often misconstrued as an alternative of inept species, the people for whom GRE and CAT are not made, who are having no attributes in them which can fetch them package of any Schlumberger and so they have no other option left than to rely on India Incorporation for raking on moolah with greasing their palms. Civils is enshrouded with myths of stagnancy, sense of undue complacency, interference of blockhead politicians etc. This biased view of people about civil services are due to their self framed obsessions and hearsay information.

Generally nature of this profession propagates functional image of civil servant in the system. An image of a person who is complacent with his place in hierarchy and guided by some upper force. But this vox populi reveals that ulterior motives of aspirants are very different. Vivek and Dilip who are superfinal year students of Maths & Computing and Biotechnology respectively envision civils as an option for trying their luck in this political mess of India while Rituraj sees it as a rostrum from where he can put forth his ethical socialism ideas with full vigour and large mass appeal. Rajat who is bagging an under ten rank in institute and recently undergone training in a prestigious UK company was disillusioned with his nature of job there without innovation and challenges. According to him if diagnosing an error of semicolon at line no. 234 of thousand line code is job of a top company then I would prefer to become apostate and embrace India Incorporation whose jobs are much more challenging and diversified than any other MNC. Satish who opted electrical engineering after JEE felt after sometime that with each insertion of wires and chips in breadboard he is burying his freedom of thought and will in this deterministic graveyard and he found CSE as job which is much more possibilistic than observation of waveforms.

I think the job of civils is somewhat like a management in an undefined systems instead of job in companies where you are a part of hierarchy or you are a manager with well defined ranges and spans. Management in undefined systems helps in evolution of theories those are applied in well defined systems. It is evident that CSE qualifiers are holding some of the coveted posts throughout the country. Apart from having a post of collectors and District heads, which is job requiring tremendous management skill and diplomacy, a person may acquire the post of ambassador, diplomat, secretary or advisor to the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers. A person can himself become cabinet minister with prestigious membership of parliament. These are the forces who work behind the scenes, form policies, 5 year plans, Industrial Policy, International relations, Oil Import etc. They can decide whether Schlumberger’s should be allowed to do business in India or not. Needless to say, the perks of the job are tremendous - in terms of housing, servants and allowances. Corruption does exist, but so do clean bureaucrats.

So far as examination part is concerned the test is rigorous and hard nut to crack in real sense. With two optionals and three phases of examinations, it is also a test of perseverance and patience besides dedication. Phenomenal growth of knowledge, unprecedented levels of value addition and holistic viewpoints are gifts of this exercise. The prerequisite is that you should develop a different view about global and local happenings. So the preparation for CSE is an academic activity with fare share of extra academics in it. Now I think that my elucidation will surely help in developing different opinion about civil services. One can easily visualize that how far all these accusations and prejudices are true and is civil service not competent enough to be opted by an IITian.

Lacklustre participation of campus in democracy.

India is the largest democracy in the world. Election is like foundation of this edifice of democracy and vote is like foundation stone. Every five year witnesses the construction of new building and each of us have right to lay the foundation stone of his choice in the form of their vote It is our social and political responsibility to put the foundation stone of our part .A large section of our country is unable to perform this social and political duty successfully and adult students studying in various institutes all over country constitutes a large part of this section.

Many students, who migrate from their hometown to other cities of country in pursuit of their degree and education in various institutes, feel that they have left their right to vote in their home and now they are playing no part in construction of this democratic building. It is very hapless for a nation that a large section of adult and intelligent people is not taking part in deciding government. Participation of this section is very essential. Educated youths are having power to overcome the prevalent mental inertia of society and to challenge the old political shibboleths which can establish something new and relevant. Cafeterias and canteens of campuses have greatly contributed in origination of many trailblazing ideas for society and nation.

When the country is observing sea change in politics, the campus is sitting silently with finger on their lips and hands folded. The campus also wants the mark of indelible election ink on his fingers but this lethargic system has made them handicapped and they are unable to perform their duty. I am final year student of IIT Kharagpur. A vox populi conducted in my campus has revealed that many of my friends want to use their right to vote but they have no idea how to proceed. Many students from other institutes also feel themselves confined and restricted as they can’t use the suffrage. Election commission has some arrangements for temporary listing of people who have migrated from some other place but students are not having any information about it.

When the question arises that who is responsible for this position then some feel that it is their moral duty to take care about the right of voting, some accuse election commission and some blame institute for it .Whatever is the reason and whoever is the culprit but the point is that lack of participation of youth and campus is ominous for the future of Indian democracy and proper measures should be adapted with serious implementation to ensure this participation.

BTM Rocks : A Trip to Aquatica. - I

( This is the first part of the story .The real purpose of the story to reveal the qualities of my wing mates .Aquatica trip was the most recent gathering of my wing mates .It is very hard to condense my four year experience in these four lines. Sometimes I feel that company of these people was like a service without any price. I am writing this story as farewell gift to my comrades whose presence gave me strength whenever I felt weak ,gave me happiness whenever I felt melancholy, served as balm whenever I felt pain, assured me their presence when I was estranged and helped me to stand like rock against several odds. It is very tough to check the flow of change and now when each of us will get scattered in their journey of life only these delightful memories will remain to cherish. Very few moments come in my life when I get maudlin and this is one of those occasions. It is the moment of great pleasure for me and I have no hesitations in kowtowing before such a great pool of gems...)

It was 12:30 am and some serious topic was going on in a silent room of Azad Hall and suddenly my cell phone rang up with same familiar ring tone of "Humko sirf tumse pyar hai" and I found the number of Anurag flashing on the screen .I started to expect something unexpected before my fingers pressed the green button .Without much Hello or Hi I received a caveat from Anurag that a trip to Aquatica is in conception here and we are supposed to leave Kharagpur about 3 am. Without much effort on my mind I realized the whole situation .Anurag told me that now I am left with two options ,one was to join the party and other was to keep my self at large till 3 am.

Many thoughts rolled over my mind before I managed to decide which option I should select .My conscience questioned me several times .With no job and one more year of imprisonment left I found myself a misfit in the bandwagon of amusing people. So I finally decided to select the second option and to remain absconding till 3 am.

Around 3 am I thought that storm should be over now and my sweet wing mates must have left for Kolkata now. They may be having some grudges with my attitude but generally time is great healer and it helps in obliterating all grudges. Thinking about all that I reached to the gate of Nehru .Suddenly I was taken aback by a solid outline standing at the corridor and resembling to Vishal. My wing is blessed with very influential and lovable character in the form of Vishal. He is very diligent person and consummate performer .Energy level of his body is not at all commensurate with mass and size of his body and sometimes it forces me to think whether he has any biological system to store solar energy .He is involved in many sports activities and he is also Inter-IIT tennis player. His performances of verve and vitality have made me his fan. I some time wondered when I used to play cricket with him. I don't get much opportunity to bat or ball but I get almost same opportunity for fielding as Vishal. Ball gets no margin of space to get out from the area which is in the realm of Vishal but I misfield many times and then I satisfy myself with concept of electrical that thin wire has more resistance and so Vishal is a good fielder. He is brilliant student of electrical engineering department. Overall Vishal is having spate of qualities and virtues and this paragraph is too short to describe all of them.

Ascending through staircase I reached to my wing and the first question that greeted me was from Vishal "Are you not willing to join us in this Aquatica trip .If you will not join then no one will go". A whole scene of bathetic novel and situation of sentimental soap opera was there. Now I found myself in real quandary. My real character is very affable and convivial and now I was finding that my adapted personality with some unseen forces was trying to obscure that real character. At least it should not be on the part of my wing mates. Shame on me I am such a spoilsport! I became very apprehensive of my stand that may provoke salvo of accusations from my wing mates.

Now I started considering prospects and consequences of selecting second option. While I was pondering over it I found Thoka showering some detesting look over me as I have violated the laws of friendship and committed an inexcusable crime. So I went to Thoka and asked him about the outcome of trip. Here I would like to write something about Thoka. Thoka whose real name is Apoorv Pandey is salient part of my wing. He is student in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering which is the best branch of our wing. He is sapient, voracious reader, logical thinker .Overall he is extraordinary person of my wing with ability to solve for loops present inside a for loop. He answers the question with a smile only and while smiling different dimension of his lips represent different answers .Thoka answered me with well familiar smile and this time dimension of his scarlet lips assured me that very ecstatic trip is in store for us.

I unlocked my room and sat down on my chair .Room door was open and so was the orkut. I clicked on the refresh button of orkut expecting increase in number of fans or scraps but same digit of 146 again baffled me. I found the moon looking at me smirking at my position. My thoughtful reverie was broken when I saw Vinay rushing towards bathroom with shaving kit in his hands .I called Vinay to discuss something about this whimsical trip .After realizing my presence in the wing and my reluctance to the trip ,he rebuked me and asked me reasons for upsetting the applecart. Here story demands brief introduction of Vinay Kumar also .The words "hotshot" and "virtuoso" can be used for Vinay Kumar without any second thought. Surely he is a person of extraordinary genius and his assiduous character has helped him to achieve whatever he wants. He is star of my department and all girls of my department are having a complete or fractional crush over him. He claims that he is numero uno since birth and his position in department and invitation from prestigious MIT justifies his claim very well .He considers me as his best friend. I don't know what is my role in these four years of his life but he says that I played spectacular role and outstanding contribution .Many times I found myself as a silent sink receiving all his soppy overflows and dumb listener for all his sermons .I don't know whether I should say it or not but when Vinay comes in front of me I found myself like a Wilson of movie Castaway in the listening to Tom Hanks…..Those who don't know about movie Castaway, Wilson was a volleyball whom Tom Hanks used to talk when he was living an isolated life in remote island.

So Vinay demonstrated a nice picture of Aquatica trip and with the help of my sixth sense I started feeling the paradise .He established many parallels between swimming pools of Singapore full of scantily clad women grappling with water waves of cool and soothing water and Aquatica of Kolkata .Although I am rarely influenced with these fair sex incentives but he assured me that without a trip to such place you will always feel yourself deprived of great pleasure. He told me that one trip to Aquatica will surely end your waits on orkut and after handing me such a nice portrait he went for shaving. I looked at my computer screen and refreshed orkut once again .Scrap count was again 146. Whole situation challenged my established beliefs.

Slowly and slowly I was thinking to get rid of orkut with a simple trip to Kolkata. I was standing against railing looking around this sylvan landscape of Kharagpur and feeling pity over my confinements when Pradeep Bhaiyya appeared with water droplets shining on his face and adding more glow to his natural glitter. I started expecting something out of blue but I was relaxed when he asked me in his usual and friendly style "Hello buddy, what is the reason of your blue?" Pradeep Bhaiyya is most experienced person of our wing .A feeling of reverence automatically seeps through when he comes in picture. Whatever we are doing and expecting to enjoy is past for him except B.Tech. Many times his attitude towards life and perception of situation is really commendable and many times his five minute company will relax you a lot. You can always expect a warm and cosy shelter under his fatherly attitude when you are perplexed or when you are feeling jittery. So I told Pradeep Bhaiyya that I am sprucing myself up for this visit and he was very happy that even most reluctant person is also succumbing towards his brainchild and some supercilious blood ran through his veins.

I was looking at the preparations going in my wing Thoka, Pradep Bhaiyya and Vinay were all set to make this trip memorable one .Two bags were packed and cacophony was prevalent in the wing over various arrangements. Suddenly I found increase in the number of bags and one suitcase was also added. My curiosity forced me to ask about extra appearance of this disturbing stuff and suddenly a voice came from background "Shhh….Its mine ". Here comes the most complex character of our wing Anurag. Tall dark and handsome guy of our wing with dashing outlook and personality suitable to modelling, he is gem of the students in electrical engineering department. A small hissing sound uttered by him is an indication of outright and scornful rejection of you and your nasty idea. He is having unprecedented high levels of logic and wits. He is having a good sense of humour and also great power to understand it .He has affected my life in many ways. I generally find that after five scraps each girl comes to know about my realities and it is because sixth scrap is written by Anurag and now you can very well think about content of that sixth scrap. He is Vishwanathan Anand of Nehru Hall and star of Electrical Engineering Department. Anurag and Satish are in extraordinary nexus that rendered me without a girl and my scrapbook of orkut is live testimony of that joint venture.
So finally we left for Kharagpur station in bicycles and rickshaws. It was 5:00 am. As we crossed Chhedis and Puri Gate the darkness and silence engulfed us .When I travel in the dark I always felt scared of three things …paranormals, dogs and ditches on the road and by the grace of Almighty that day we reached to railway station successfully without much hindrance from these three factors .I , Vinay ,Nuke, Vaibhav,Prashant,Satish,Anurag,Vishal and Pradip Bhaiyya assembled near the ticket counter and waited for the joyous pursuit to start……

(Are you eager to know about the denouement of this trip and outcome of this pursuit of pleasure...Second part is following very soon...)

Changing Face of Society and Origin of Neo-ethics.

Ethics are system of moral principles rules and guidelines established to ensure the welfare of large section of society. In absence of ethics, social order will break and complete chaos will become prevalent. To avoid the chaos requirement of ethics was felt in the society. Think about a race that started without any well-marked track. After one lap competitors mingled up and created the state of confusion and extreme disorder and this disorder necessitated the need of well marked track. A parallel can be drawn between racecourse and society and between track and set rules and guidelines. Now we have to perform our movements within confinements of those well-marked track of society known as ethics so that large section of society can race without any hindrance or interception.

Changing scenario of society has changed the face of ethics also. For example renaissance changed catholic ethics to protestant ethics. Magnitude of social part in the man’s character is waning with industrialization and mechanization. Man is becoming more and more professional and this increasing professionalism can be compared with mechanization of man. In the wake of changes those set rules are changing and giving way to new ethics .Modernisation, mechanization and technical advancements has increased our knowledge and power .This has enabled us to think more logically and to challenge the established ethics and beliefs.

Professionalism has made us result oriented and for that it is important to do things quickly, effectively and successfully than doing it thoughtfully and ethically. Professional ethics is special rule of conduct followed by those engaged in common pursuit. Essence of professional ethics is to do nothing that will compromise the integration of profession. Generally ethics rules tell us what we cannot do and professionalism deals with what we should do. Many things which may be unethical by general perspective are genuine when professional view is taken into account.

Technical advancements are happening at breakneck speed and faster than the ability of society to develop social norms that contribute to its moral compass. It takes time to develop a pattern of behavior that makes up social norms because society is multidimensional and made up of many components and to establish something in society as a norm requires that all components and domains of society should be aligned unidirectional to accept it as a norm and this is time taking process, but technology is not waiting .Think about the use of world wide web and internet which is a byword for technical advancement. People download and copy music software and many other things without paying for them. For project presentations, students cut and paste entire matter from research papers available on net and pass it as their own work. For them it is OK, it never questioned their ethics and they do it without a bit of bother. But, seeing this by social perspective it is like stealing of ideas and creative works of other people which is unethical.

Rapid change and transformation of society, technical advancement, scientific progress, hike in cognizance level of people, professionalism and enhanced logical thinking has spawned new debate over ethics and now whether something is ethical or unethical is to be decided in the light of all these factors and various other circumstances. At prima facie something looking unethical may be the budding new ethics for society which will instill in it with time and society will accept it.

Second Phase of Indian Renaissance......

(This is the essay that was sent in the copmpetition organised by India Inspired and Hindustan Times. The topic of essay was "Visions of great men have created great nations. What is your vision for India ? How great do you want to make her and How?” .The essay was figured in top 30 out of 500 entries )

It is sure that visions of great men create the great nation and it is no exception that our great motherland also was the same and I am very sure that once again our motherland will be reinstated on the position of “Jagatguru “,but now the time has come when some serious endeavour is required from us. There are many problems that are destroying such a fine woven fabric of our country and now its time to get rid of our habit of turning blind eye and deaf ear towards the statements related with cause for nation.

Sometimes I feel that there are handful of dissolute persons because of them a large mass have to keep himself disheartened. It is very true that silence of good people is all sufficient for prosperity of evil. We have more than sufficient raw material and infrastructure available in the form of more awakened people, exuberant young blood infused with the onus towards nation, few genuine aboveboard politicians, audacious journalists, people daring to leave cushy jobs and forming NGOs for the cause of our nation and many more such examples are there, still our plant is not working fine because many frictional forces are available which are hampering the output of our machinery with the best negative force they can apply. So now the time has come that we should ponder over it and either apply the best possible lubrication or we should replace the plant with new one .
Question may arise that why should someone sacrifice their life especially that when there is so much corruption prevailing in society, when our leaders are shamelessly dissolute. Sometimes it really boggles my mind that is it really possible to clinch something out of this quagmire. Why should some people should practice austerity while others are deeply plunged in consumerism and hedonism rule, but someone will have to take initiative and youths can emerge as best protagonists for this cause.
It is required that our youth should seriously start taking cognizance of current state of affairs, politics, society, attitudes of people and the more serious issues affecting them and youth the world over. They should get rid of attitude that seems akin to: “Are we bothered?” .Ignorance is the mistake on our part and as long as we allow the ignorant to elect the ignorant to run the country ignorantly - we cannot expect anything to improve in India. Nation really suffers a lot when blockheads who never learnt obeying are given the right to command .A real transformation is required in our youths .People should break all shackles and start taking stand for any cause of our nation, instead of shrugging their shoulders. It should be responsibility of each able human being in India to help country in turning their large population from a menace and a neutral stuff to a valuable human resource and this target can be achieved when every capable citizen will take it as his duty and responsibility to help their less fortunate and trodden brothers. It should be responsibility of each and every citizen of India to help their motherland filling up chasm between rich and poor.

This is most hapless for our nation that it has been always destroyed by insiders, never by outsiders.Whenever a corruptible person is bestowed with rod and sceptre, he starts behaving like a termite licking the wood and we innocent people come to know when the whole structure crumbles. Our nation is full of such examples. It is very hard for freedom to sustain in society full of corruption because corrupt society always force people to adapt illegal measures to do legal things also .It is demonstration of an organized crime and people in power are oppressing them whom they were supposed to help. So draconian measure are required to curb this malpractice and parallel black money running in the country and which is not able to make any place in GDP contribution. It is the responsibility of citizens and people who love their country that they should intelligently sense the so called protectors who have turned devourers and massive campaign should be launched against them. These termites are eating the fine wooden structure and they should not be allowed to disgrace the nation anymore.

Media should maintain its responsibility and should always behave like an efficient causeway between government and public. Media in India has made progress by leaps and bounds and it is really great. Though competition in media produces competitive sensationalism for each news and viewer get many version of same story still this competition and hyperactivity of journalism is assuring that each and every part of country is covered like never before

We should discourage the brown-skinned Indian lackeys who always have feeling of European in themselves and they feel pleasure in underestimating potential of India and take solace in making fun of our motherland. I want to state an example here. Placement seasons were going here in IIT Kharagpur. Multinational Companies are hiring the students and students are feeling complacent after being enwrapped by some MNC's strip around their neck. I told to one of my friends that I will prefer to serve my nation instead of forming myself a creamy human resource for some MNC, then he told me that this is a sacrifice of talent .This immaturity is persisting heavily in our intelligent young generation and it is very shocking that there senses are not prudent enough to feel that India Incorporation is enormous and much diversified than any other MNC of world.

Technology should be harnessed in the way that it should not be limited to a fixed people but it should prove benevolent to people from all walks of life and consequently it should help in improving living standards of less privileged people also. Whether technology is simple or sophisticated but it should be always for the neediest and once again the responsibility comes on the shoulders of people full of technical knowledge to impart this weapon to their lesser brothers who can use it efficiently and significantly to improve their way of living and upgrading their standards.

Something really significant is going on in India .Now the time has came that we should show a strong will to preserve this hard won freedom and dignity of our motherland. A feeling should be instilled in everyone that service of nation is not a sacrifice but a privilege which few get in their life.It is necessary that people should shrug off their opportunists attitude .I know that people are having feeling of resentment and anger in their minds for whatever is going on in their motherland but now it is time that they should convert their anger in resolution. We need only a faith of mustard size in us to get away with humongous problems that our nation is facing .I know there are many doubts and suspicion in our mind baffling us many times but once again I will say that this is not time to dispel all doubts but it is time to take some initiation. Well began is half done and the age has come now when people have start thinking from new end about the second phase of our freedom struggle and Indian Renaissance and I am sure that very soon our nation will again regain its status of Jagatguru and it will emerge as pioneer in all other contemporary civilizations.

Imposition of dress code for women

These days issue of imposition of dress-code for woman in Chennai colleges has spawned many debates in country. Most shocking and baffling thing is that many intelligent and levelheaded people are also supporting the notion of imposing dress code.Implementation of such dress code hightens the feeling of insecurity among women and this shows the intention of this patriarchal soiciety to oewvrpower woman.Should men's behaviour towards women depend upon what they wear ,how they are looking ,what they are revealing ?Are men so insecure about their character ?Men have no restraint over themselves so woman should adapt some guidelines and patterns proposed by men so that they can save themselves from wanton brutalty of men. This dresscode is one of those proposed guidelines and women are suppose to follow it in this patriarchal society.Surely obscenity and vulgarness should not be there and women are enough intelligent to care about that.
Problem is not dress but our archaic point of view which still thinks that women is a thing to be used according to the rules of men. These outdated views will surely stuck India in this place.Women of country should become more assertive and this nonsense should be defied vociferously and there refusal to accept these unjust guidelines can only make the change and suppress these culture cops prevalent in society who are unable to rectify themselves and their evils.

Vote against Iran in IAEA

Government was highly criticsed for leaving the country's independent foreign policy and kneeeling down before US in Vienna. Is this compromise in foreign policy of India and especially for the sake of US is justified .,
India who was propunder of Non-Aligned Movement has adopted a new direction while entering into the new world order. After observing India's stand considering nuclear non-proliferation one may think that this stand is quite pussilanimous, disquieting and showing lack of determination and susceptibility to American pressure. Many other countries are also apprehensive of this Indian stand...But it is always not necessary to stick to old shibboleths whether they are political, social are any other...The thing is that India is doing whatever is right for her in new era and new world order and I think that by this vote US has not shown to world that he can make things according to his way and neither it indicates anyway that india is serching a comforting warmth and cosy shelter under Uncle Sam.
